House Plan Design - Cabin Exterior - Front Elevation Plan #497-47

Plan 497-47 is holiday-ready with a functional and smart layout. Designed around a central island kitchen (that acts as a social hub for the rest of the spaces) that flows organically into the wide open living and dining area, this floor plan provides maximum flexibility. Need a place to store those extra coats and boots? A handy mudroom/laundry room provides extra space for lockers and shelving, making this a great place to keep cold weather clutter from invading the rest of the house.

Two bedrooms and a bath are located on the first level, while the second floor features a generous master suite (with a large walk-in closet and dual sinks) as well as a media room that overlooks the main living space.

House Plan Design - Craftsman Exterior - Front Elevation Plan #923-23

This striking cabin floor plan (plan923-23) features appealing rustic touches and many contemporary amenities. The open layout makes it easy to hang out and move between the great room (where you can curl up by the fireplace or step out to the grilling porch), the dining area, and the island kitchen. Plenty of windows brighten the interior of this house plan design and provide scenic views.

Have a seat at the snack bar for a bite, then head back to the master suite to relax in the large shower. Once you've picked out a comfy outfit from the walk-in closet, head down to the lower level for games, drinks (check out the wet bar), and stargazing from the porch. A full bath makes this area suitable for overflow guests.

House Plan Design - Country Exterior - Front Elevation Plan #923-99

Did someone say cozy? Plan 923-99 is a holiday-ready cabin floor plan that invites owners to enjoy the beautiful weather year-round with a charming screened porch. Windows in every room let in lots of natural light – which means a more open and spacious look.

Inside, an open floor plan between the main living spaces allows the home to feel larger than it actually is. Three bedrooms and a bathroom are located to the left of the floor plan, while a rear grilling porch adds even more living space to this cabin floor plan.

House Plan Design - Cabin Exterior - Front Elevation Plan #3-279

Plan 3-279 is ready for the holidays! Boasting a large wraparound deck and soaring windows, this cabin floor plan is ideal for scenic sites and makes the most of outdoor living. Living and dining spaces combine to take advantage of the dramatic cathedral ceiling, the rugged stone fireplace, and the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The island kitchen features plenty of counter space for cooking up a yummy holiday feast.

On the second level, the master suite enjoys a den, a private full bath with separate shower and tub, and a walk-in closet. The high ceiling gives this space an elegant feel. The unfinished basement option includes a tuck-under garage and lots of space to finish later as a family room or lounge.

House Plan Design - Contemporary Exterior - Front Elevation Plan #23-2605

This getaway cabin floor plan (plan23-2605) is notable for its small footprint, which makes it suitable for a tight lot or simply sticking to your building budget. With twin bedrooms, a cozy activity area, glass French doors, and a large covered porch, this design makes a great vacation or weekend home.

Clerestory windows above the porch allow plenty of light to brighten the living space and give it a feeling of roominess. There is a warming fireplace centrally located on the front wall between the doors to the covered porch – great for gathering around with friends and family!

House Plan Design - Contemporary Exterior - Rear Elevation Plan #1061-8

With a soaring wall of windows, the back of this contemporary house plan (plan1061-8) is ready to capture beautiful views. A deck stretches all the way across the rear, making it easy to step outside from the main gathering areas and both main-level bedrooms.

Inside, the open kitchen boasts a snack bar that seats up to four people for casual meals. Just steps away from the kitchen is the dining room that opens to the large living area. A wood stove provides a cozy focal point at night. No need to share bathrooms – each bedroom accesses its own. Upstairs homeowners will find bedroom number three and a roomy loft space.

House Plan Design - Country Exterior - Front Elevation Plan #17-3406

With its rugged curb appeal and relaxed open layout, this cabin house plan (plan 17-3406) fits beautifully in a scenic setting. Relax on the wraparound porch with a hot drink, then head back to the grilling porch to prepare dinner.

Inside, family and friends can hang out at the kitchen's snack bar. The open dining room presents more space for meals – not far from the bright sunroom. A fireplace creates cozy ambiance in the great room.

Easy to reach on this level, the master suite includes a double-sink vanity plus another sink in the water closet, which pulls double duty as a powder bath. Two large bedrooms share the second level, complete with a hall bath and linen storage.
