Plan Description
This Ranch over Full Basement is a gracious single level lifestyle home, with a full basement that holds two or three additional bedrooms and two additional baths. A covered front porch flanked by stone and wood columns opens to a coffered foyer. To the left is a hall with 10’ ceilings. Straight ahead is a pass through opening to the dining kitchen area. On the South side of the Main Hall, twin French style pocket doors open to a brightly lit office/study. The stairwell to the basement features floor to ceiling natural wood 6x6 posts and a unique craftsman style rail and baluster system, a focal point of the residence. Straight ahead is the great room with ample room for furnishings and media center. A high efficiency gas fireplace is framed in stone and built in cabinets. Everything, including the text, is backward in relation to the original design. These kinds of drawing are typically used to reorient an original plan more advantageously on a site, either because the homeowner prefers it that way or because of limitations of the site itself. Note: Mirror reverse sets are only available with a 5 copy or 8 copy set. With a Reproducible, PDF, or CAD set, you can print mirrored copies locally.
